Mathematics in the wonder of the world PAMUKKALE


September 22-24, 2022 in Denizli, Turkey

International Conference on Mathematics and Mathematics Education

The main aim of this conference is to contribute to the development of mathematical sciences, mathematical education, and their applications and to bring together the members of the mathematics community, interdisciplinary researchers, educators, mathematicians, and statisticians from all over the world. The conference will present new results and future challenges, in series of invited and short talks, poster presentations, workshops, and exhibitions. This year, our conference will include a chess tournament, Mathematics and Art Exhibition, and a high school math competition. Those who want to make the conference presentation language Turkish must prepare the presentation text in English. National participants must attend the conference face to face. For international participants, they can attend the conference as a hybrid (online or face-to-face).

This conference is organised by MATDER-Association of Mathematicians and hosted by Pamukkale University.

Çardak Airport

The airport, which is within the borders of Çardak district, is 65 km from Denizli city center and 5 km from Çardak town centre. The airport, which was put into service in 1991, has a terminal of 16,890 m² with an annual capacity of 2,200,000 passengers.

Only Istanbul-Denizli and Denizli-Istanbul flights are made daily at Çardak Airport. In addition to providing car rental, chauffeured car rental, VIP-individual private vehicle or mass transfer services for our guests coming from Istanbul and its surroundings to the city center, public transportation services are also offered by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality.

It is possible to reach our city from every province of Turkey by bus services. Our guests, who will get off at Denizli Intercity Bus Terminal, can come to our congress center from the taxi, city minibus and bus stops located close to the Bus Terminal. Our guests who will use the city bus lines are required to obtain Denizli City Cards for travel.

Our guests who come to the intercity bus terminal, if they want to travel to all Denizli districts, can reach the district minibuses on the lower floor of the terminal.

ABOUT DENIZLI

Denizli is an industrial city in the southwestern part of Turkey and the eastern end of the alluvial valley formed by the river Büyük Menderes, where the plain reaches an elevation of about three hundred and fifty metres (1,148 ft). Denizli is located in the country's Aegean Region.

Homa Silver Waterfall

  • The town on the Çivril-Dinar road was named Gümüşsu because of the good quality of the water here. The water of the waterfall, which is about 30 meters high, is very cold and sweet.
